年制大学看護学部2 年生78名と、3 年課程の看護専門学校1 年生40 名に対して、研究の主旨と倫理的な配慮について説明し、承諾を得たのち調査を行った。参加者は受講前後で30 項目、4 件法の「子ども理解評価尺度」と、受講後の自由記述に回答した。「子ども理解評価尺度」は受講前後で対応のあるt 検定を行い、自由記述は計量テキスト分析を用いて頻出単語と共起ネットワークにより分析した。\n　「子ども理解評価尺度」の結果は、30 項目中23 項目で受講前よりも後の方が有意に高かった。『身体生理の特徴』に含まれる「子どもは気道が狭く肺が未発達であるため、呼吸困難などの症状を起こしやすい（p<0.001）」「年少児ほど成長率・基礎代謝が大きいため、エネルギー所要量が多い（p<0.001）」など6 項\n目すべてで、『自律性』に含まれる「子どもは、生後３年間のなかで自我が芽生える（p<0.001）」など5 項目すべてで有意であった。一方、有意差がなかった項目は『知的・情緒・社会機能の発達』の11
