Tsuyukubo et al. conducted a survey of teachers who participated in the “Taste Education Training,”, and reported that there was a transformation in teachers’ awareness before and after the course. This study examined the factors that contributed to this transformation from a qualitative perspective.\n【Methods】15 people were interviewed for details of their transformation before and after their participation in the seminar, and their speech was analysed.\n【Results・Conclusion】The interviews revealed the following conclusions. (1) One of the factors in the transformation was due to participant’s experiences and realizations from attending the training. (2) The instructor, J. PUISAIS, was always receptive to what the participants felt. (3) J. PUISAIS tasted and expressed with the participants.(4) The participants compared J. PUISAIS's expressions with their own feelings and realised the importance of feeling and expressing themselves. The change in participants’ awareness after the training was due to their reflection on their qualities as educators through the training.
