| 内容記述 | 本研究では，2008 年に堺市立図書館でおきたBL 図書排除事件に対する，図書館業界内外の論点を整理し，どのような議論がなされ何が不足しているのかを考察する。ナラティブ・レビューの方法を用い，図書２件，雑誌記事８件，新聞記事３件の分析の結果，図書館業界では図書館が収集方針に基づき収集した特定ジャンルの図書を外部からの圧力によって青少年に対して提供を制限しようとしたことを主要な論点とするが，図書館業界外では，公立図書館が性表現のある図書を収集・提供することの是非や，BL 図書を排除したことの背景にあるジェンダーの問題が主要な論点となっていた。以上を踏まえ，ジェンダー関連資料としてのBL 図書の可能性，図書館機能とポルノを知る自由，青少年への資料提供と包括的性教育との関係性などの議論の不足を指摘した。また，これらの議論はSRHR に対する図書館の役割を考えるためにも重要であることを主張した。 | |||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study focuses on the 2008 incident of BL (BoysʼLove) book exclusion at the Sakai Municipal Library, organizing the points of contention within and outside the library industry. It examines the discussions that have occurred and the aspects that remain inadequately addressed. Using a narrative review method, we analyze two books, eight journal articles, and three newspaper articles. The analysis indicates that in the library industry, the primary issue is the attempt to restrict access to specific genres of books to the younger users by putting external pressures on them, despite these books were collected by libraries under their collection policies. Outside the library industry, the main discussion centers on the libraries’ acquisition of books containing sexually suggestive content and on the contemporary gender issues underlying the exclusion of BL books. Based on these considerations, we argue that there is a lack of discussion on the potential of gender-related books as library resources contributing to the realization of SRHR, the role of libraries concerning the right to access pornography, and the relationship between the provision of materials to young people and comprehensive sex education. | |||||||||||||||||||||
